Review: Sour Patch - Watermelon Flavor

From first looking at it, the gummies were not as advertised on the packaging. It was mostly pink with only a little bit of green in there. The initial flavor is definitely the sour / sweet from their advertisements. The intensity of the coating on the gummy over-powers any flavor that may be observed on an initial bite.
When the flavor does appear, it is noticeably artificial, but better than most of the fake watermelon flavors I've had. However, this flavor dissipates quickly and is left with an odd texture I can't seem to describe. The texture is much different than any other gummy I've tasted. The aftertaste leaves a hint of the watermelon taste, but is not overly powerful and fades quickly.
Overall pretty disappointing gummy in terms of flavor longevity.
